Circular walk from Hellandbridge to Clerkenwater

Hellandbridge to Clerkenwater

A circular walk from Helland's mediaeval packhorse bridge along a lane lined with wildflowers which was once the main turnpike road into North Cornwall, passing above the fortified settlements that controlled access to river crossings during prehistoric times, and returning via the 14th Century church thought to be on the site of a Celtic church from the Dark Ages. 5.5 miles - Easy-moderate.
